Kimberly Linton has been a vibrant part of the fitness community for over 17 years as a personal trainer and weight loss
specialist.Kimberly understands the unique challenges women face being overweight as she struggled to stay fit while raising her two daughters overseas. After meeting with a trainer in 1993, Kimberly was able to lose weight and compete in several bodybuilding competitions. After losing over 50 pounds, Kimberly was inspired to become a fitness professional to help other people adopt healthier lifestyles.
Kimberly proudly served her country in the U.S. Army, which gave her the opportunity to complete her MBA. After landing what she thought was her “dream job” in Corporate America, she quickly returned to her true passion of helping people get in the best shape of their lives.
Kimberly’s time in the military ingrained a “no excuse” attitude that earned her the nickname “DC’s Toughest Trainer” from her clients and colleagues. Kimberly holds a personal training certificate from the leading certification organization in the country: the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is a member of Idea Fitness Association.
When Kimberly is not training clients, she’s hiking the Grand Canyon with husband Kurt, running in charitable race events, volunteering, mentoring and spending time with family.
